Applicant qualifications:

• Holder of Thailand's 60-day tourist visa or transit visa OR

• Tourist with visa exemption (ผ.30, ผผ.30, ผผ.90) 30-45-90 days

• Contact the school for the paperwork within the first 30 days of your visa entry to allow enough time for processing.

Step 1– Register at school

1. Your actions: 

   • Fill in TM86 or TM87 at the school

   • Copies of passport & departure cards (TM6) 

   • 12 photos or photo file (.jpeg)  

     *Size 2 inch or 4 x 6 cm. *White background

   •  Thai phone number

   • Tuition fee 

   • Police check certificate for some nationalities

2. ​School actions:

   • Submit your applications to the Ministry of Education.

   • An approval letter from the Ministry of Education in Thailand typically takes about 4 weeks to be issued. 

   • Meanwhile, the school will prepare additional school paper for you to submit in the next step.

Step 2– Apply for a non-immigrant ED visa at the Immigration Office 

1. Your actions:

   • Pick up the documents from school when notified

   • Go to the Immigration Office:

     • Your passport with at least 6-month validity

     • Your visa must with at least 16 days remaining validity

     • TM 30

     • Thai phone number

     • Visa fee 2,000 THB in cash 

2. School actions:

   • Once you have received the ED visa stamp, present your passport to the school within 3 days.  The school need to submit the documents to the Ministry of Education for your next visa extension.

   • The education visa in Thailand lasts for up to one year, with extensions every 90 days.

3. Note:

   • Your ED Visa start date begins when you submit the documents at the immigration office.

   • Immigration's visa processing time is about 16 days.

   • Please dress appropriately when you go to immigration. 

   • Immigration office hours: Monday - Friday at 8:30 -16:00

   • (You should arrive at the immigration office before 10.00 am.)
